Andrew Rogen is a veterinarian and board-certified veterinary ophthalmologist (DACVO). Andrew learned the importance of caring for animals and their people at his family’s veterinary clinic and while growing up on the family farm. Andrew graduated from South Dakota State University prior to receiving a doctorate in veterinary medicine from Iowa State University in 2015. He then completed two years of additional veterinary training in Oregon. Dr. Andrew Rogen’s three-year residency included training in both California and Wisconsin. Andrew attained board certification from the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists in 2020.
Andrew is now a full-time veterinary ophthalmologist at the Animal Emergency and Referral Center of Minnesota in Oakdale, MN. He also travels to South Dakota to provide veterinary ophthalmology services at Horizon Pet Care by appointment on select weekends. Andrew is excited to offer comprehensive eye exams, OFA CAER (CERF) exams, ocular ultrasound, electroretinograms (ERG), and select on-site surgeries.
